Then there are artists like Ant Bailey, where trying to force everything into one lane might be the first mistake.
Absolutely.
Rock?
He’s been there too.
Dance records?
Now we’re talking.
Songwriter. Actor. Dancer. Entrepreneur. Contractor.
And right at the center of his current public identity sits one description that tells you a lot about how he approaches music:
Audio Scientist.
That doesn’t sound like somebody interested in repeating the same formula until the algorithm rewards him.
It sounds like somebody who wants to experiment.
And when you actually look at Ant Bailey’s catalog, the name starts making sense.
Apple Music currently identifies “Get Loose,” his February 2026 collaboration with DJ Beloved and Slick Wit The Sticks, as his latest release. The same catalog carries 2025 projects including Got Energy, Finish Line, Life Of A Rager, Abstract Rap and “When It Come To Us.”
That is not one sound.
That is somebody testing how far his identity can stretch without breaking.

Ant Bailey’s profile asks a question:

You could read it like marketing.
Then you look at the records.
In February 2025, Ant released the six-track Got Energy EP through Genius Minds. The project includes “Mood Killer,” “Energy,” “How You Better Than Me,” “Holding Back,” “Business Handel” and “Off Wave.”
One day earlier, he released another four-track project, Finish Line.
Then came Life Of A Rager in May 2025 — and Apple Music categorizes that release as Rock, not hip-hop.
That matters.
Because plenty of artists talk about versatility.
It’s different when the catalog actually starts jumping genres.
And Ant has been doing that for years.

February 27, 2026 put Ant Bailey in a completely different room.
DJ Beloved, Slick Wit The Sticks and Ant Bailey released “Get Loose (BPM Mix)”, a 7:37 dance record released through Beloved Presents Music.
Traxsource identifies it specifically as Soulful House and credits production to DJ Beloved, Doug “Slick” Swiney and Ant Bailey. The platform also singles out Ant’s instrumentation as part of the track’s groove.
That is where the “Audio Scientist” description gets even more interesting.
Because Ant isn’t only showing up as somebody standing in front of a microphone.
He is helping construct the sound.
And the house lane didn’t stop there.
Traxsource currently lists Ant Bailey on 2026 mixes of “Touch Me” and the DJ Beloved / DJ Spen-connected “Reach For The Stars.”
That means the 2026 version of Ant Bailey is not simply revisiting an old catalog.
He is still finding new rooms to walk into.
