That's worth noting.
This isn't simply a social-media page calling itself a radio station.
There is actual broadcast infrastructure behind the brand.
The organization's public contact directory provides a dedicated request line for Power V97.5 Vegas, as well as separate numbers for the network's other formats and departments.
And the Power Radio operation explicitly invites artists to submit music for radio consideration.
For independent artists, that's where this story becomes interesting.
BECAUSE GETTING A RECORD PLAYED IS STILL ONE OF MUSIC'S HARDEST PROBLEMS
Making music is hard.
Getting people to hear it can be harder.
Ask independent artists what happens after release day.
They upload the song.
Post the artwork.
Drop the link.
Make a Reel.
Tell everybody:
“OUT NOW.”
Then comes the uncomfortable part.
Waiting.
Waiting for streams.

Public radio directories categorize Power V97.5 Vegas around hip-hop and R&B, while another current Power Vegas presence—Power NV 97.5 Viva Las Vegas—lists programming spanning Urban/R&B, hip-hop/rap, indie pop, inspirational and educational content.
And look at what actually appears in the publicly indexed playlists.
Alongside recognizable records, the station's recent listings include music from less universally established names.
That's significant.
Because independent radio becomes valuable when listeners don't necessarily know what's coming next.
Discovery requires uncertainty.
If every station plays only records everybody already knows, radio stops discovering and starts confirming.
Independent radio can do something else.
It can say:
You might not know this artist yet. Listen anyway.
THE STATION IS ALSO BUILDING PERSONALITY
Great radio was never just a jukebox.
It had voices.
Characters.

People listeners developed relationships with.
Power's own published material announced DJ Thump joining the Power V97.5 Vegas morning team with Thump in the Morning, described as a weekday 6–9 a.m. PST program built around music, conversation, local stories, celebrity news and interviews.
Another current Power NV 97.5 Vegas listing promotes the Frank Wade Morning Show Monday through Friday, along with recurring Power Picks Hour programming.
That's important because programmed radio needs anchors.
People need reasons to return tomorrow instead of treating the station like an endless random playlist.
Personality creates appointment listening.
And appointment listening creates community.
LAS VEGAS IS THE RIGHT CITY FOR THIS KIND OF PLATFORM
Think about the environment.
Vegas attracts entertainers.
DJs.
Artists.
Touring acts.
Promoters.
Nightlife professionals.
Producers.
Content creators.
Entrepreneurs.
Everybody is moving through the same entertainment ecosystem.

Algorithms are extraordinary technology.
